Malosi Pictures is a creative media group that specialises in Pacific video and stills photography. Based in Auckland, New Zealand we've shot all over the world, but in particular in our homelands the Pacific.
"Malosi" is the Samoan word for 'Strong' or 'Power'.

Vea Mafile'o
As an artist Vea Mafile'o has exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2015. She is a freelance television director, and has filmed extensively throughout the Pacific, and also Europe as an Artist. After graduating with a Degree in Fine Arts she started off in the Art Dept world of television and went on to work in feature films and short films as an Art Director and camera operator. She is a full time television director, but continues her Art Dept by designing and dressing a variety of corporate events. Vea has finished Producing three short films shot in Tonga as part of her art work Digital Fananga, of which one of the films won 'Break Through Award', at the Sydney Pasfika Film Festival 2015. Vea is currently finishing off post productionfeature length documentary "For My Father's Kingdom".

Jeremiah Tauamiti
Jeremiah is a freelance television and film director based in Auckland. He started off his career as a television camera operator and has now produced, directed, and been a camera operator for television and videography for TVNZ, TV3, Maori TV, (NZ) and has produced several NZ Govt Dept videos. Jeremiah is currently finishing off post production for his debut writer/director short film "Liliu", and Malosi Pcitures Feature length documentary "For My Father's Kingdom".

Emily Mafile'o
Emily Mafile'o is a professional photographer. She specializes in black and white stills photography, with the use of film. She also captures those magic moments with a digital stills camera and has also been a camera operator for television NZ's "Fresh" youth show. Emily has exhibited extensively including recently in China.

Malosi acts as scout while Vea and Emily work, Vea shooting video and Emily stills in the island group of Haapai in Tonga.

Jeremiah takes a quick rest while shooting an Uga hunt - Coconut grabs in a forest in the island of Niue. Uga as they are known in Niue are a delicacy all over the Pacific.
